Are you handy and enjoy a variety of tasks?
Join our team and play a key role in the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, both inside and out. A versatile position where your skills will truly make a difference!

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain all exterior access points and company parking lots year-round (snow removal, mowing, cleaning, etc.)
  • Perform minor repairs: carpentry, painting, plumbing, basic electrical work
  • Respond to breakdowns or coordinate intervention by suppliers and subcontractors when needed
  • Assist the person responsible for preventive maintenance of production equipment and help diagnose breakdowns
  • Suggest solutions for the continuous improvement of building and facility maintenance
  • Plan and organize maintenance activities (preventive and corrective)
  • Supervise work carried out by subcontractors or external suppliers
  • Conduct regular inspections of the buildings to ensure they are in good general condition and to prevent damage
  • Occasionally operate a forklift
  • Occasionally travel to the Dosquet and/or Victoriaville facilities

Required Skills

  • Good general knowledge of construction, mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electricity
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues
  • Ability to read plans or technical drawings (an asset)
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Team spirit and good communication skills
  • Initiative, resourcefulness, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Knowledge of workplace safety (CNESST standards, etc.)

Profile Sought

  • Education: High school diploma (DES), equivalent, or relevant experience
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in building maintenance or a related trade
  • Availability: As soon as possible
  • Driver’s license: Required for inter-site travel and forklift operation
  • Other qualities: Versatility, reliability, punctuality, customer service mindset
