American Red Oak grows in Eastern Canada and USA. Its flesh color is tinged with pink and shades of red. Oak has a coarse texture that gives a particular effect to its pinkish brown vein patterns. Rustic wood is selected so that every piece features knots of different sizes and shapes. The knots are textured but no holes are deep enough to allow seeing through. Rustic wood is available on solid wood pieces only.
