The bamboo is an Asian plant that grows incredibly fast. The larger species of bamboo have been used in Asia as building material for a very long time. More recently, wood technologies allow turning bamboo into a strong and beautiful wood material. Easily renewable, bamboo is considered as a green material because of its rapid growth and because its usage help sparing world’s forests. Available with Mondrian and Tierra doors only, bamboo may be used with natural finish or stain colors, Cuisines Laurier offers a bamboo color selection. Two type of veneer cuts are available: the plain press bamboo that results in a larger patterns and the side press bamboo that has a narrower pattern.
